What will the course cover?

Using Devices and Handling Information
Creating and Editing
Communicating
Transacting
Being Safe and Responsible Online

How is the course assessed?

At the end of the course you will complete two assessments to test your knowledge and skills.

The first assessment will be a multiple choice or short answers exam, to test your knowledge. The second assessment will task-based, to test your skills.

Upon completion of your Level 1 Certificate you have a number of new opportunities:

Can I access a short course?

To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

I currently live in England
I was aged 19 or over on 31st August 2023
I have lived in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years*
I am seeking employment/claiming unemployment benefits or earning below £22,308 annually**
