I've been working for the Careers Services in Norfolk for nearly 20 years under a host of different names and locations and I am currently employed as a Careers Adviser for the National Careers Service.
My passion has always been to inspire people to achieve their dreams and find their purpose or calling in life.
I've had so many moments in my career that I have been proud of - but my most recent, I was able to greet and speak to a Ukrainian refugee in her second language Russian, which surprised her to no end but I hope made her feel accepted and welcomed.
The best part of the job is by far the job satisfaction from seeing someone come alive and energized knowing they are going to achieve something of value and meaning in their lives. If I have given someone hope, I feel as if I have done some good in this world.
A surprise about me - I once performed in a Bernard Brecht play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
