    About the role:

    This role is to support the Head Mechanic by undertaking a preventative maintenance programme for all vehicles and machinery used by our engineers.

    This role also includes:
    •Assisting in the diagnostics and subsequent repairs relating to failing equipment
    •Communicating any needs / problems relating to machinery and repairs
    •Communicating with the Workshop Manager any purchasing needs
    •Undertaking repairs of failing machinery and the maintenance of the building
    •Undertaking welding and fabrication as and when required
    •Undertaking the repair of engines and tyres to a safe standard
    •Maintaining up to date service records
    •Assisting and advising site technicians with the use and maintenance of equipment

    •Full Driver’s Licence
    •A logical approach and be mechanically minded
