Opened in 2004 and extended in 2015, the network covers all major employment sites, both Universities and Nottingham College as well as the main attractions and places to eat, drink and shop.
Our dedicated team are here to help and can be contacted in several ways should you need assistance.
We were the first tramway in the country to be fully accessible, meeting the Disability Discrimination Act guidelines. We believe everyone should be able to travel around Nottingham so we will continue to work hard to make the system accessible for as many individuals as we can.

About the Role
In order to support Nottingham Trams in its desire to be the Number One Tram Operator in the UK we are recruiting an Infrastructure Cleaner who will be responsible for cleaning tram stops and park and ride areas, as well as any other designated NTL infrastructure.
The main duties for this role include
- Meeting agreed standards of cleanliness and appearance of tram stops and park and ride areas
- Ensuring that adequate quantities of cleaning materials and equipment are available to complete the work each shift
- Compliance with all NTL rules, procedures and operational instructions
Essential Skills required
- Punctuality and reliability
- Effective communication skills: must be able to comprehend written/radio instructions and give clear and concise verbal/written information to the Control Room or Line Management.
- Provision of excellent Customer Service to the general public and tram stop facilities
- The working hours each week are 40 hrs, normally starting at 0430 and finishing at 1430. The roster is 4 days on 3 days off, 4 on 4 off, 4 on 5 off, 4 on 3 off, etc.
About You
Qualifications;
- No formal qualifications are required, however post holders must hold a full, clean car driving licence.
- In addition post holders must be able to;
- Set a professional example to peers and others as part of the Engineering team.
- Maintain a tidy appearance and friendly attitude to customers and the general public.
