Job Description:
- To ensure that all possession support staff are aware of site safety whilst working on a possession.
- To ensure that the possession support staff are familiar with the work site and possession requirements
Key Accountabilities:
- Preparing for possession duties and associated safety critical activities.
- Familiarisation with work sites and engineering tasks to be undertaken.
- Identification of blocking points.
- Attending site meetings.
- Contributing to the development of contingency planning.
- Undertake local training and familiarisation.
- Assisting others with familiarity and site visits as required.
- Assisting with isolations and other operational duties as required.
- Carrying out Auxiliary Operating Duties.
- Undertake development training, assessments and recertifications.
- Familiarise yourself with the Railway Geography of the areas in which you work.
- Attend Possession Management / Site / Safety Critical / Planning meetings as required and requested.
- Assist with the development, coaching and mentoring of Safety Critical Staff.
- To carry out safety critical duties in accordance with competency certification held.
- Undertake other duties in accordance with the requirements of the company
About You:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work days/nights/weekends
- Attention to detail
- IT literate/capable to receive and send safety critical documentation via a tablet
- Excellent spoken English
- Good written English
