Supporting those who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET with additional needs or from vulnerable backgrounds

Skills for the Future focuses on young people aged 16-24 with additional needs and from vulnerable backgrounds.

By focusing on wellbeing and mental health support, the aim of this work is to reduce the number of NEET (not in employment, education or training) individuals within these groups.


Advisers will help young people to look at a range of life aspects, including:

  • Work
  • Education
  • Volunteering
  • Apprenticeships & Training
  • Managing additional needs
