When it comes to getting young people into work, we're happy to say that we know what we're doing. With almost three decades of experience in training, apprenticeships, and helping people find jobs they love, you're in good hands.
If you're 16-25 we can help you kick start your career!
We provide you with 3 days of training, you'll receive a City and Guilds Level 1 Award in Employability Skills and a CV.
Over the course the 3 days we'll provide you with the know how on:
- Labour market information – how to look for work and current live vacancies
- Preparing for Work
- Applying for a Job
- Effective Communication
- Recruitment and interviews during COVID
The course will be face to face where possible and where not possible, it'll be digitally via Teams.
All learning will be tailored to you, and won't feel like you're in a class room. When you've completed the credits you'll achieve a City and Guilds Level 1 Award in Employability Skills. You'll also leave with a CV.
The course will also give you access to specialist KickStart vacancies and you'll be supported to by your job coach to make applications for any that you're and be suited to.
To sign up to the Kick Start program you need to be registered and claiming though your local job centre. Please speak to you job centre work coach who can refer you fi they think this would be suitable for you.
